Meet Dr. Nicholas Ladikos
Dr. Nicholas Ladikos is the Founder and Director of Clinical Services at MedOp Advisors. Throughout his career, he has founded and led several businesses and held senior leadership positions at a number of healthcare organizations across the country.
Dr. Ladikos develops and leads clinical programs that help stakeholders use and advance medication management tools, including formularies, pharmacy and therapeutics committees, and medication therapy management, alongside quality metrics, research methodologies, and health information technology initiatives. He serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University and an Adjunct Professor at Arizona College of Nursing, and has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed papers in his core research areas, including infectious diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacoeconomics, pharmacogenomics, and therapies for lung transplant and geriatric populations.
Earlier in his career, Dr. Ladikos started and operationalized system-level clinical programs at Johns Hopkins Hospital and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). His work has included medication utilization statistical analyses used to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practice guidelines and to inform health program policy, as well as pharmacoeconomic analyses focused on administering cost-effective pharmacy benefits and consulting with care management teams to provide guidance on member goals.
Dr. Ladikos also conducts physician training and clinical staff education on medication utilization trends, identification and mitigation of medication fraud, waste, and abuse, and collaborates on disease management and population health programs.
